

Diane Van Ussel is a highly-regarded and sought after visual director, who specializes in projects containing high design elements. These spots are often created utilizing multiple disciplines including live action, motion graphics and state-of-the-art post production techniques.
Diane also possess extensive experience working with animals. She has directed over a dozen different campaigns featuring animal actors, wherein her background in beauty and action, has served to visually and emotionally heighten the material. Her client list includes Nestle, Mars, Honda, Nissan, Colgate/Palmolive, General Mills Philips and SC Johnson.
After working for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, Diane attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, where she studied graphic design and film, graduating with honors. Diane went on to form the Monkeyshine Production Company, filming and designing motion graphics for commercials, for a stylistically diverse group of clients –from Bristol-Myers Squibb, Aetna Health Care, Kraft Food to UNICEF and Amnesty International. Diane was awarded the Art Director’s Club Merit Award for Best Main Title Sequence.
